By professional New Zealand actor Karl-Heinz Urban was born on 7th June, 1972 in Wellington, New Zealand. German immigrant his father owned a business store of leather goods and his mother once worked in Wellington for the Film Facilities. Urban went to St. Mark’s Church School and at the age of eight, he had his first acting single line role in New-Zealand television series one episode of Pioneer Woman. Until his high school completion Urban did not professionally acted but took part in the school stage performances. He attended four year (1986-1990) in Wellington College then moved one year for Bachelor of Arts program in Victoria University of Wellington.
In September, 2004 Urban got married to his makeup artist Natalie Wihongi and have together two sons. His elder son was born on November 2000 named Hunter and younger Indiana (Indy) born on January 2005. During June 2014, the coupled announced about their separation. Urban has a tiny Heart Tattoo on his ring finger design art for the ‘Lord of the Ring’ movie where other nine actors had the same tattoo on their ring fingers.
Urban career started from the year 1990 and was seen on New-Zealand/American internationally syndicated TV series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warriors Princess. His left hand also shows a fake Left-Arm Tattoo which was designed for the movie Doom. He was then seen later on for international roles in 2002 where his first role for Hollywood was in horror film of Ghost Ship.
