Alexander Mikhailovich Ovechkin better known as Alexander Ovechkin is a famous ice hockey winger born on September 17, 1985 in Moscow, Soviet Union. Within the National Hockey League (NHL), he plays as a captain of Washington Capitals team. He was also a part of the HC Dynamo Moscow of the Russian Super league. He has captured many trophies under his name from his hard work like that of Lester B. Pearson Awards, Hart Memorial Trophy, and Ted Lindsay Awards. Alexander is the only player to win Rocket Richard Trophy since its inauguration. These are only a part of the trophies earned by him, but he has won many other which is not mentioned here.
Tattoos are not only made for fun, it sometime represents inner sentiments of a human being which maybe otherwise not possible. Ovechkin is also fond of tattoos. This is the sole reason that he has variety of them on his body parts. Some are for fun; some has deeper meaning in his life. One of the tattoos that he has is of two kanji on his lower back. One of the kanji on the left side represents ‘family’ while the other kanji on the right side represents ‘life’. The other very heart touching tattoo that he possesses is a script tattoo well written on his left ribcage, which is a tribute to his older brother. The tattoo is read as ‘Sergey you are always in my heart’. This tattoo somehow represents that he was very close to his brother.
