Walters was born in June, 1969 in Boston, but, grew up in Marblehead. He did his education from New York University. While still in college he was once spotted by a casting agent who signed him as a model in high profile brand of Levi’s Jeans. He went on studying film and acting from the Actors Space in New York City.
His debut film was in 1991 called Shout. He was also pursuing his music career and went on performing the song “Rockin’ the Pad” in his debut film. In 1992, Jamie was casted as a lead actor in the movie called The Heights. Being a singer he took up the opportunity of singing the song “How Do You Talk to an Angle?” which was the theme song of the movie. This song became highly popular and reached the top of the charts.
He is very fond of tattoos from a very young age. He started doing tattoos from the age of eighteen. All these tattoos portray about something which holds meanings to Walter’s life. He has inked a piece of September 11th tattoo on one of his arms. In the under-side of his fore arm he has got a pin-up girl tattoo.
