Natalie Imbruglia was born on 4th February 1975 in Sydney, Australia. Natalie is the second of four daughters and was brought up with mixed cultural influences, her father being of Italian descent and her mother having English, Scottish, Welsh and Irish ancestry. At the age of 15 she moved from Berkley Vale to Sydney and started taking lessons in ballet and tap dancing, hoping to make a career out of it. She starred in Coca Cola and Twisties commercials.
The Australian actress cum singer acted in the Australian soap Neighbours and she has acted in movies like Johnny English and Closed for Winter. She started her successful musical career with the cover of Torn and had the subsequent releases: Left of the Middle, White Lilies Island.
Named as the sixth most naturally beautiful woman of all time in 2004, Imbruglia spikes up her natural beauty with equally beautiful tattoos. She has two Sanskrit tattoos; there is a Sanskrit inscription of the word ‘Shreya’ on her neck and the symbol ‘Om’, which is the sound of the Universe according to Hinduism on her lower back. She has a third Chinese tattoo on her left foot. This last tattoo is the Chinese word for ‘Courage’.
