Michael Eugene Archer more commonly known as D’ Angelo is a well-known American R&B, a neo-soul singer as well as song writer, record producer and a multi-instrumentalist. He was born on the 11^th of February 1974 at Richmond Virginia, US. At the age of 18 D’ Angelo left school and moved to NYC with the goal of developing his music career.  However his first real success came in 1994 through his single hit “U will know” The year later his album “Brown sugar” released. Though the sale was a bit sluggish in the initial stages, the popularity eventually grew and the album became a hit. However in 2000 his best work the “Voodoo” released and sold off about 1.7 million copies all around. This album also won the best R&B album at the 43^rd Grammy Award.

Apart from his music D’ Angelo also has a certain liking for tattoos. He has tattoos on several portions of his body namely the chest, right thighs and on both his shoulder blades. Though he loves every single one of them, the ones on his shoulders are his favorites. They are large tattoos particularly the one on his left shoulder. The design is black in color and depicts some manly figure with eagle wings some words and some numbers. Though the meaning of this tattoo is still under cover, many sources have said that the manly figure symbolizes D Angelo as a god. Whatever be the reason D Angelo considers it to be very lucky and just like his arm tattoo design goes out and performs like a god in front of his audience.
