Stevie Ray Vaughan and his peacock tattoo

At the age of 19 or 20, Vaughan had a large peacock tattoo on his chest. The pain was so tremendous that he decided not to have any more tattoos. The peacock symbolizes integrity and so did Vaughan’s tattoo. As per several myths and legends, this bird carries with it Holiness, Protection, Guidance, Watchfulness and nobility. Peacocks are believed to process human characteristics quite well. That’s exactly what Vaughan used to do with his sensational electric guitar performances. This tattoo is also believed to rejuvenate self-esteem in an individual.
