Lawrence De Smedt, popularly known as Indian Larry was born on the 28th of April, 1949. He was a motor cycle builder who was famous all-round the globe. Apart from motor cycle building, he was also a good stunt rider, biker and without a doubt, an excellent artist. He got the name Indian Larry in the 1980s when he was going around the streets of New York City on a custom motorcycle, a chopped Indian Motorcycle. Unfortunately, his talent received the much anticipated public acknowledgement in the last few years of his life. His bikes haves features in several magazines and movies. Grease Monkey, one of his classics had featured on the front page of Easy Riders magazine. He also participated in the Discovery Channels Motorcycle Mania II in 2001.
He had tattoos one various regions of his body which not only shows his love for tattoos but at the same time his love for the art. His neck tattoo which reads “In God We Trust…… Vengeance is mine….. Sayeth The Lord……. No Fear”. This tattoo printed on the front side of his neck was quite popular in the industry. He is often considered to be the person who redefined the outlook towards motorcycles.
