Marcus D. Camby is an American professional basketball player was born on March 22, 1974 in Hartford, Connecticut, USA. He was sent to Conard School in West Hartford for education, but later on transferred to Hartford Public High School where he completed his high school education. He started to play basketball during school days only. Marcus was named Atlantic 10’s freshman of the year during his college career when he had total 105 NCAA freshman rejection record.

During 1995-1996 seasons Marcus Camby won two Awards. In 11 games Canby set a total 43 blocked records in NCAA tournament. On September 10, 2010 he was been introduced to UMass Athletic Hall of Fame. He has been played many teams of NBA and also attended contests relating to basketball and proved himself the most efficient powerful player.

To accomplish college studies, he joined UMass and was among 4 college basketball players with hit 300 record career blocked shots. In 1996 he receives NBA draft and joined Toronto Raptors and stayed for almost 2 years. He then for 4 years and more stayed with New York Knicks by joining them. From year 2002 onwards the journey of Honors and Awards started for Marcus Camby and he is still being playing basketball.
