Monica Cruz Sanchez is an actress and dancer and was born on 14th March, 1977 in Alcobendas city of Madrid, Spain. Apart from being the younger sister of famous actress Penelope Cruz, she had managed to get her own identity through her talent in both dance and act.

Monica is a professional dancer as she learned dance professionally. She was enrolled in Royal Dance Academy where she learnt flamenco and traditional ballet dances. After her graduation she joined a dance company for seven years. Then she tried her luck in acting and got roles in few television shows. She looks similar to her elder sister Penelope. Once she appeared in a famous movie for her Penelope because of her pregnancy.

Monica had dated Miguel Munoz, the Spanish Singer and Actor for three years and during those days she used to wear a lot of tattoos. She used a left wrist tattoo which had an initial of Miguel. After her break up, she stopped wearing that tattoo but wearing tattoos did not end up there.

During a photo suit, she showed up her right shoulder tattoo which is an unrecognized symbol. It was just to get the attention of her fans more rather than any particular requirement for the suit or any other program.

While walking on a pink carpet, she was in a strapless black gown. She had a blade tattoo on her right shoulder and a black head band. Many fans have been guessing what that symbol means.
