Carre Otis was born and brought up in San Francisco with her younger brother Jordan and older sister Chrissie. Her parents were both alcoholic. When Carre was only 10 years old, she also began drinking. Her schooling was in Marin Academy of San Rafael which was in California. After that she was admitted to John Woolman School that was situated in Nevada City of California. She started modelling when she was 16 years old and became the top model in the time span of 1988 to 1992. At the age of 18, she became pro in heroin and cocaine addiction. She has appeared in the cover pages of several world famous fashion magazines completely nude or topless.

She was also a tattoo lover. So, she has inked different places of her body. There is an angel tattoo on her back. An angel tattoo is designed as a religious symbol. Angels means, they are in disguise of god, they came to earth like the human character with wings in their back. There is also a leg tattoo on her foot which has a very great design.
