Cassadee Blake Pope was born on August 28th, 1989 in West Palm Beach, Florida, US. She is an American country singer as well as songwriter. While in Wellington Christian School, she formed a band named ‘Blake’ with her friend Mike Gentile. Later she went on to form the pop punk band ‘Hey Monday’ with three other members. Pope is the lead vocalist of Hey Monday!
Apart from the band, she has also released solo albums, debuting with her self-titled EP. The talented singer was also the first female winner of NBC’s The Voice! Her debut country album ‘Frame by Frame’ ranked number 1 on Top Country albums chart!
Cassadee has filled her entire right arm with tattoos. She began with a bird tattoo with musical notes coming out of its mouth. The tattoo is on the inside of her right wrist and is representative of her love and passion for music!
The singer has a very cute yellow smiley-face tattoo on her right fist, a little below her index finger. The tattoo was a tribute to her late grandfather whom she called ‘happy’ as a child, because she could not pronounce his actual nickname ‘pappy’! The performance that lead to ‘Hey Monday’ getting signed was on his birthday, and to him show respect, Cassasee got the tattoo!
