Brook Busey-Maurio uses the pen name Diablo Cody. The American Screenwriter and director was born on June 14th, 1978 and lived in a suburb of Chicago with her family. The adventurous writer was looking for new experiences when he signed up for a strip-club named Skyway Lounge whimsically and she had so much fun that she became a full-time striper! Cody rose to fame with her blog ‘Pussy Ranch’ where she chronicled this one year experience. Later she published a memoir on this same experience and named it Candy Girl: A Year in the Life of an Unlikely Stripper. Cody then moved on to become a screenwriter and won the Academy award for Best Original Screenplay with her debut script Juno.
Cody has had an interesting and instinctive lifestyle. Her tattoos are no exception. She had an arm tattoo of a pin-up girl with the words ‘Jonny’s girl’ around. Jonny was her then-boyfriend Jon Hunt. Later after their break-up she got this Jonny’s girl part covered with thorny red roses. A close source revealed she did not want to wake up every morning and see a reminder of the past on her arm. Cody can also be spotted with a small wrist tattoo on her left arm.
