Edward Lodewijk cum Eddie Van Halen is a talented American musician born on 26 January, 1955 at Nijmegen. He is also famous for songwriting and producing movies. That’s not the all, but he got a lot of popularity as a lead guitarist, keyboard player and rock band named as Van Halen’s cofounder. As a guitarist, he has been ranked as one of the bests during 20th century. He was ranked eight in Rolling Stone among top 100 guitarists.

Eddie’s father Jan Van Halen is a pianist, saxophonist and clarinetist. That’s why he was interested towards music from his childhood. His mid name is Lodewijk which is given after the composer Ludwig Van Beethoven. Note that Ludwig’s Dutch version is Lodewijk.

Since Eddie loves to bring the attention of the audience while he is in a stage, he loves to wear various tattoos. While he was in action during singing a song a photographer clicked him while he was sleeveless. And his biceps were saying it all as he had a Wolfgang Tattoo there in his right shoulder.

He had tattooed his left shoulder with a Love Tattoo to show his love towards his wife Valerie Bertinelli. It was a beautiful red heart around three to four cm. in length. Upon it, his wife’s name Valerie was written. In many live concerts and shows, he made himself sleeveless to show off his arms so that that tattoo can be visible to crowd. However after his divorce with Valerie in 2005, he removed that tattoo.
